Université Paris-Sud  is a truly international institution. Many many of its students go abroad every year for part of their studies. UPS also  hosts a large number of foreign students. In 2008-2009 over 4,800 students from over 132 countries spent some time at here.

Société des Mathématiques Appliquées et Industrielles

the Société de Mathématiques Appliquées et Industrielles (SMAI) is an association governed by the law of 1901, non-profit. It was established in 1983 on the initiative of French applied mathematicians having become aware of the specificity of their discipline and wishing to assure its expansion and its development.

Société Mathématique de France

Established in 1872, the Société Mathématique de France ( SMF) is one of the most ancient scientific societies for the mathematics in the world. Association law 1901, state-approved, it aims " the promotion and the distribution of the studies of high and applied Mathematics ".

Animath

Animath is an association law 1901, the purpose of which is to promote the mathematical activity at young people, under all its forms: workshops, competitions, clubs in middle colleges, high schools and universities, while developing the pleasure to make mathematics.

MATh-en-Jeans

The MATH IN association JEANS (Méthodes d’Apprentissage des Théories En Jumelant des Établissements pour une Approche Nouvelle de Savoir) allows middle colleges and high schools to learn about the research in Mathematics.

Association pour la Promotion Scientifique de l'Afrique

Société Européenne pour les Mathématiques et les Arts

Few girls in the technical and scientific networks, few women in the scientific jobs, in particular in mathematics, it is from this report and from the will to remedy it that arose in 1987 the association Femmes et Mathématiques.

Fondation Sciences mathématiques de Paris

The Mathematical sciences foundation of Paris ( FSMP) groups renowned Parisian laboratories in mathematics and in fundamental computing (those of the UPMC, the Paris-Diderot universities, the Paris-Dauphine, Paris-Descartes, the Paris-North, of the ENS and the INRIA). It represents a community about 2000 researchers and PhD students, that is the biggest concentration of mathematicians to the world. Its scientific spectre includes all the mathematics, of the purest in the most applied. The FSMP finances programs (excellent pulpits, researchers' invitations, doctoral allocations, stock exchanges) which contribute to the progress of the research and to the international attractiveness of Paris in mathematics.

The Institutes

L'Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques

The IHES based to Bures-sur-Yvette, offer of the ideal working conditions and the concentration, favoring the maturation of long-term projects, in the contact of permanent members who are scientists of the highest level.

L'Institut National des Sciences Mathématiques et de leurs interactions

The Institut National des Sciences Mathématiques et de leurs Interactions (INSMI) of the CNRS has for mission to promote the excellence in the French mathematics by by leading and by coordinating a network of units of research, structures of national interest, and international laboratories.

Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques

The CIRM, on the Campus of Luminy, welcomes all year round, in a relative isolation, short programs (one-three weeks), supplying in some participants' tens of the exceptional material conditions (accommodation, restoration, luxurious natural frame).

École de Physique des Houches

The Écoles des Houches, in the Alps welcome everything as the CIRM of short programs.
